# How-To Steps:

- Combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast in a large bowl; let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and allow it to rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Punch down dough and roll into a 10 x 18-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Evenly distribute mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped olives, herbs, garlic, and black pepper over the dough.
- Starting at the long edge, roll dough tightly into a log. Slice lengthwise with a sharp knife to expose filling, then twist strands together keeping cut sides up.
- Shape twisted dough into a circle, pinch ends to seal, and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Allow to cool slightly; serve warm or at room temperature.
