# How-To Steps:
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- Arrange half of the cubed bread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and fine sea salt until smooth.
- Pour half of the custard mixture over the bread cubes, pressing gently to ensure thorough soaking.
- In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy, then dollop by spoonfuls over the soaked bread.
- Top with remaining bread cubes and pour the rest of the custard mixture over them, gently pressing to ensure all bread is thoroughly moistened.
- Mix melted butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon together, then drizzle or dot over the casserole.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight for a minimum of 6 hours, preferably 8 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and remove the casserole from the refrigerator while the oven heats.
